For the people not knowing what a dummy battery is. A dummy battery is basically a normally battery but it will never die because itās plugged directly into the wall outlet.
prettiest and cleanest rgb background ive seen. the texture is so cool.
Thanks. This is a game changer for me because i've struggling with using and charging a battery, and had never knew 'dummy batteries' existed.
Isnāt that a mirrorless?
Just to be clearā¦there is only one company making the Cam Link (made by Elgato). For the beginners, you āyou will need some kind ofā capture card. There are not Cam Links being made by multiple companies out in the wild. Look for capture cards and/or HDMI switchers (like the Blackmagic ATEM mini).
Apsc Sony alpha and the 16mm is goated š
we need another video showing how it works on the software
Using an a7iv Iāve been able to stream with just a usb-c cable, I just plug the camera into my computer and select usb streaming on the camera lcd and the select the camera as a video input device. I imagine this would work with other sony cameras. No need for a special battery or capture card
Be careful when buying dummy batteries, it fried two of my cameras before!
Thank you a lot for sharing this information that's provided on this video! This is exactly what I needed to know! šÆ
Thats a Aps-c camera (Mirrorless) not an DSLR
Thank you!!
Your setup looks awsome
What camera and lens is she using?
What stand do you use to prop up your camera? It looks really nice.
The titleās wrong, but Iām pretty sure Sony has software that you can use to plug it directly into the computer with USB so you donāt need a cam link.
Dope set up! What type of camera mount (tripod) are you using behind the monitor?
Definitely dont need a capture card for newer Sony cameras. USB C straight into computer works for me. (make sure you download the Sony Imaging Edge driver if it doesnt work right away)
The set up looks cool. Any tips on how can we have a similar set up?
