@RedSoxFan427 Looking at the x coefficients we see 2 and 3, while the y coefficients are 3 and -10. The GCF of 2 and 3 is 6, which is a lot smaller than the GCF of 3 and 10 (30).

So multiply the first equation to make the x coefficient a 6 or -6. Likewise we multiply the second equation by something to get the x coefficient to be 6 or -6. (I like to have a positive and a negative, so I can add the equations, which is easier than subtracting them.)

So we can multiply #1 by 3, and #2 by -2.
