Wow this is awesome, you have given me some great inputs. I have almost replaced obs with ffmpeg+shell scripts. The only thing I miss is switching scenes. I was also thinking of playing it live using mpv while it is recorded (or streamed), for sync issue I used "-itoffset 0.25" on my webcam input and it works fine. So far I am happy with my setup but your scripts are way nicer. Thanks for sharing this information! :)

Very nice, I’ll have a look at that script later: thanks for sharing. I will also check how to adapt the MPV window to the video itself to avoid having black borders on the edges
