@M.Campbell

Dr. Eilers: Been there, done that, not letting you get away with it.
Me: Sigh. Truth.  Thank you.

@hannahmuller6694

We are searching for the switch in our head, we all know it doesn't exist 😊

@NetflixTopVideos

So true, its there we have to face it, get on with it. 😊

@DepriSun

I know this person. It's me. When I first experienced DPDR I couldn't stop to research, listen to every single Podcast out there and in the end that just fueled my anxiety.

@LookForMeInButterflies

Dr. Scott speaking 🔊 some TRUTH right here! Thank God for you 🙏 in my life & for wisdom like this you share with us. Much love & light ✨️ Praying for you in this busy season of your life!!!!

@curiousc9259

I was LITERALLY just now saying this in my head ("I wish someone would just tell me to stop procrastinating and avoiding the sh*t I need to do and just DO IT because there's no other way around it. It's just causing me more depression and anxiety!"). And this popped up. 😮

@sweetest247

The DOC has busted the majority here. Damn it!

@Lucyelle

Hard truth ❤

@yorkiemom4272

Truth. I've bought a million dollars in books and programs. Like the books I have on decluttering. It didn't work, and now I have more clutter because of the books.

@chris8mon

In general this is a good advice,but I have to point out that, when it comes to trauma-related mental health issues, even scientifically proven strategies can bear unexpected risks. Even getting rid of unhealthy coping mechanisms can be problematic.

@snjezanaspahija249

Nice explanation,you are good❤❤❤❤❤

@BambiJacobs

This is so true!

@tiffanykraft944

THIS IS ME!!!! But how do I stop and apply instead of continuously shopping for new ideas, techniques, apps, programs, books, etc??!! I am actually actively "shopping" when I came across this video while looking for faster, easier, better, no pain or brain power ways to change/control/understand my life. Its all tooo fricken exhausting.

@jmitch8483

Boy did this ever hit home! It feels like you're speaking directly to me because everything you said is 100% accurate.

@lilessab85

You are so right!

@RandB-rx4vb

It hurts to admit, but this applies to me.

@Karin_and_Bim

wow, you are [sadly] right, in my case 😔

@lightofathousand

The things I've tried so far haven't worked, so let's keep doing them and not try something else.

@karenr411

Guilty on all counts 😅😮 I have tons of 'self help books half read. I have become a master avoider. That's not a badge of honor. Thank you for this reminder ❤❤❤

@laurathomas6620

Thank you!!!! You're sooo right! ❤❤
