🀣🀣 I can't believe I get to watch this content for FREE. So underrated channel

@MoreCRNonYT

Reminds me of a comment I read somewhere...
while scrolling through a list of JS frameworks and reading their their docs
Developer: What? 13 different frameworks and not a single do it all framework? I'll make a universal perfect framework to end them all!
a few dev cycles later
There are now 14 different frameworks, not a single of which is universal nor perfect.

@RB_MAFIA

every javascript framework roasted in 4 minutes πŸ˜‚

@ceigey-au

Fun fact: Evan You used to be a core dev on the Meteor team, and if you've seen Meteor's ReactiveVar, Vue's refs and Solid's signals look quite similar. And now signals are working their way into Angular πŸ€”

(There's a lot of cruel twists in Meteor's history, like one of the reasons Vue was looked over was lack of SSR support but now Nuxt (with SSR) probably has more developers using it than Meteor, the original core team moved on to start Apollo GraphQL but now "sync engines" like minimongo are cool again, they adopted coroutines (fibers) before they became cool but now Meteor uses async/await because coroutines didn't make it through TC-39 and Node dropped support for the fiber plugin, they had one of the better JS bundlers early on but missed out on all the performance improvements from Webpack and Vite until now, etc etc)
