@AdviceWithErin

No one spends more time with you than you spend with you. Be nice. ❤

@elinor487

My friend used to do this to me all the time, I never was able to go to her house without crying. I'm in a much better place now, and the first time she did it and I didn't cry we had a little celebration 😊

@emilypage5872

I can’t tell you how much I needed this video, Erin. It’s like you read my mind after coming home from a rough day at work. Thank you Erin for always making helpful and comforting videos!

@Beautiful_Chaos

Imagine having someone asking you "How are you feeling?" and not only to be polite, but because they actually care...

@uniquely_insane

I feel like you read my mind Erin. I have been feeling so overwhelmed, trying to keep up with my work, that it finally got to me yesterday. I worked yesterday too, but my mind was a mess and I couldn't focus on anything. I didnt tell anyone apart from a friend of mine because honestly noone cares enough. I know I have to get back to work today, and this video just hit the right spot ❤

@appleonaya2659

I wish I had a friend that would ask and really care about how I'm feeling. The problem is everybody else is so busy nobody asks, nobody takes time to really listen.

@AndreaLikesMusic

The insistence of the question by Friend 1 helped Friend 2 see that their emotions matter to at least one person. I wish everyone on the planet has someone like that when they need them most ❤

@hansikaroy3731

I started crying at a little forgotten

@mywholelifeisaboogerbubble

A good friend doesn't accept the "I'm fine/good response".

@traceyb3345

Got to admit, this made me cry a bit. I'm always telling people, and even myself, that I'm good when I'm really not :(

@TritonTv69420

dang this hit hard. Everyone deserves someone who cares. In the partially paraphrased words of a good psychologist i listen to "you can tell your real friends because you can tell them good news and bad news. When you tell them good news they will help you celebrate. When you tell them bad news they will listen to you and not tell you why you are stupid and why that bad thing happened to you."

@RachelAltieri

Very true. This is awesome. ❤

@KongchengVang

"It's not your fault." 🥺

@beccalife275

Overwhelmed is my daily

@Dutch62791

Dude you give great life advice, thank you for your videos

@kittlen

Funny. A couple months ago I started asking myself every morning “Are you ok?” I recently lost an important friendship with someone due to a job change, and he would ask me that every week. I think it’s my way of still grasping that friendship while also checking in with myself.

@hollylberry

What a good friend to find out how you’re really feeling and not just accepting the answer about her kids. So many people are struggling right now. ❤ You are right you have to be kind to yourself. Thank you for that reminder 😊

@bluegoth

My daughter is friend 1 to me. She always knows to ask me more than once. I love this ❤

@KLUSTERIZER

Yeah but...even if you tell your friends how you're really feeling, no one is going to really fix it except you. They can help a little here and there...but honestly I find that a little help from a friend actually ends up hurting in the long run, because then all I'm going to think about is "oh great, now I'll have to pay them back at some point" while still having my original problem.

@hydeparkacademy7107

That was amazing. The greatest gift is really listening, and seeing the lonely little soul behind the facade.
