This was my first smartphone, what a blast from the past.

@santtu6930

This was my first smart phone, I had it in pink 🀧 I actually took it back into use around 2016 because my other phone broke. The screen felt so small but I eventually got used to typing with it. It only had storage for Whatsapp and YouTube since I didn't have a SD card but hear me out, that was enough. I was so much more productive and felt less 'stressed' about social media. This phone felt more peaceful with its simplicity.

Out of all the old smart phones I have, this one is still working just fine :D

@neilureta6498

you got me that the galaxy y has a soul. this is my first smart phone and it was magical.

@leyjit3561

Love this! Saw ur 2021 vid as well. Old games are obviously one option to make the Y useful again but if I may suggest turning it into a garmin replacement. It is more than capable i think as a GPS device with offline maps, trip detail history and all. One can also use this as a more than capable cycle computer given its size and colored screen :)

@guts2048

This was my dad's phone i used from time to time, then in early 2018 i tried downloading a android 7.0 theme and i bricked it

@c-v2f

Thanks for this video! This was my first rodeo in installing custom ROMs and glad to see that it runs well. Ordered a new battery and flashed the same rom used in the video, not the greatest browsing experience and was a pain in the ass to flash the stock rom over and over again

@TMG_INFINITE

Is that the life is strange menu music you're using as background music? ABSOLUTELY SICK if it is. Good video too!

@L1g7h

That piece of crap as you called it is the oldest phone that i own that STILL works...

@ravener83

This was my first smartphone, so much fun, I would connect to the neighbour's unsecured Wi-Fi and do all sorts of stuff, back then I was so desperate to run Minecraft Pocket Edition on it but it had an old Android version but I kept digging and eventually found myself rooting it and installing a Jellybean ROM, hoping the higher android version lets me run Minecraft but alas it never worked no matter what. I think now it makes sense that it was probably due to the ARM6 processor or so and not just Android version issue. Oh well but those were the good times, It got me into being a curious tech nerd.
