People forget that nuclear submarines are made for war. Meaning that if one gets deployed, the ecological life and environment would be its least of the concerns
The pixel art is great
Rip sea life
Important to note active pings are almost never used they are to loud and give the sub away
Once you start to get above about 180 decibels or so sound stops becoming so much a measurement of loudness and more a measurement of transmission of energy. Also remember the decibels logged are logarithmic.
What does it do to the sea life?
I now remembered that I was gonna play Barotrauma (submarine game) from this video
I read somewhere that military sonar is limited to 235dB because if they try using any more power, the water surrounding the sonar instantly boils and obscures the return signal

Active Sonar indeed can kill Marine life(or just any living thing around it), however this are extremely rare to be used by the Navy and no, they are not frequently used. However their alternatives is that they use Passive Sonar to avoid harming Marine life, Passive Sonar works by listening to its surrounding instead of emitting sounds that bounce back to them.
That one cod ghost mission
MW3 2011 mission goes on a whole other level now π
I really like this art style
Sometimes submarines use passive Sonar to hide from adversity, Unlike active Sonar that send out pinging, passive can actually listen for a source of sound
Sonar is one of my most favourite machine because of how dangerous and difficult sonar can be
These visuals are pretty cool
The diver couldn't get a grip.
I love your animations keep it up!
I like those pixel 2d styles rather than 3d
