Great points. I also think the industry which gets a person into Salesforce plays a part as well. I started in the Salesforce ecosystem in 2018 in a college/university setting. With that, because we were not using things like Product, Pricebook, and Big Deal Alerts I had to learn those separately. Failed once, passed the second try once I was able to add those non-education focused components.
Thank you for the great info Emily!
I got my first salesforce admin job about 2 years ago with no experience by some boot licking and luck. Totally unsure where to go from here lol, but I know I want to do more, and obviously get paid more.
My opinion that most of them feel the exam is difficult because they are not playing with the system, go deep it the system play with those features, try to break the salesforce lol. No one gonna jail you for that. if you play hard enough with anything u will get unusual errors and you will find solution, and that my friends is where you are learning salesforce.
Hey thanks for the video, I am more interested in salesforce DEV certification,| can anyone suggest any resource or vids, thanks
Hi Emily, are you going to offer an Admin preparation course on Udemy? I am currently studying for the Associate Exam via your Udemy course and have found your material invaluable.
for me it is even more difficult because I am Brazilian and English is not my native language
