Buy the Steam Deck if you want a handheld console that plays most Steam games. Buy a ROG Ally if you want a handheld PC that plays all games and everything else a PC can do.

I got the rog ally x and honestly use it more than my xbox during the day. The only reason I hop back on xbox is bc I have console only friends who wanna play all night long. The ally x lasts me an average of 4 hrs tho, which is awesome.

Rog Ally with Powerbank is Enough for me, all I want is wake/sleep from SteamOS and fixing Armor Crate because it's working far from perfect

Can you do a review testing battery life with modern games like cod, marvel rivals or Elden ring? I’d love to see how the battery does running those more intense games, any tdp / performance changes would be nice to include as well. I’m looking to get a device with better battery life that keeps the performance.

While I agree the ROG Ally X is better than the steamdeck, it definitely does NOT have greater ergonomics.

I have both and have the steam deck to my wife I use my x more way more fellas get a rog I’m telling you you will love it
