“We are all visitors to this time, this place. We are just passing through. Our purpose here is to observe, to learn, to grow, to love… and then we return home.”
– Australian Aboriginal Proverb

I stopped living in bad faith long ago, the thing is society seems to punish us who chose this path.

@ShrivigneshS

I have been listening to your videos for a long time. They have helped me through some tough times. Thank you

@alexisval-e5x

You always seem to post videos on the days I'm having an existential crisis. Your videos help ground me, thank you so much for making these.

@jasminvomwalde7497

Please continue this series on existentialism.
Thank you.

@PixeIPrez

Personally, after years of studying various philosophies and spiritual practices, it feels like they're just burdens to carry and goals to achieve. I watch the birds and they fly, I watch the fish and they swim but neither are attempting to achieve anything beyond that. I like to just be.

@chriswilliams8159

The notion of everchanging "self" is deeply rooted in Buddhism. Over-attachment with anything external, whether material possession, people, or an ideology, depending on their impact, is a pathway to unnecessary pain and suffering.

@mattharvey78

The messages Einzelganger conveys through these videos keep getting stronger. I feel inspired to stop living in bad faith and return to writing. All I need to do is challenge myself to write 15 minutes everyday until it becomes a habit and then keep working until my project is finished. If I actively pursue my passion, I can be free of a life of living in bad faith.

@Pedritox0953

" A Man is nothing else but What He makes of himself "Jean-Paul Sartre... Great video! Peace out

"Life is what you make of it not what someone else thinks of it." - Anon.

@cherry-xz6ei

This was/is a realization that I had this summer and ever since I've been actively working and choosing what I want and need to change. Oddly, by coming to this, I have less anxiety, and I'm better all around.

@danlyson7681

Makes me wonder, I worked my life because my father wanted me to take over the family business, 40 years later I start to understand what Jean-Paul is conveying! I guess I'll write my book that was my childhood dream!

@keithwalmsley1830

"The nausea has not left me and I don't believe it ever will, the nausea is me", a line which has always stuck me and one I can certainly relate to.

@blue_eyedbuddha

You should make a video about the Buddhist concept of Śūnyatā (Emptiness) and how it relates to existentialism

@westmountainmotorsports

ive watched plenty of your videos and the later part of this video talked directly to me, thank you.

@lizardtoejoe

Your content has been so helpful to me!.
Thank you for all the extra perks on Patreon, too.

@parimalTeK

This is the best explanation about the Existentialist I ever found. A lot of this feels like a Vendant in India.

@VASHON-ve6ki

Thank you for adding nuance to my apparently crude understanding of Sartre's philosophy

@kevinvitualla

As I delved my philosophical journey, i found out that most of Sartre's ideas about existentialism was deeply inspired by Dosteovsky. Dosteovsky has never coined the term all he did was to explain and show us the nature of human mind through his novels such as crime and punishment. When I read No Exit by Sartre, that was well-written how we want others to define us, hell is other people indeed

@somitul

Yes, please cover how to become an existentialist! I have been really interested in existentialism for quite a while, and it's kinda vague when it comes to practical implementation and depth. I would gladly appreciate another video on this topic!
You wonderfully explained the core message of existentialism in this video btw!
