I’m bout to try these all out on my session today 🙏💎
Definitely good tips for sure on vocals
Appreciate it homie 💯
If u have an outboard preamp (a quality one) i would not use any Waves preamp plugins/emulations. U will take away from your analog signal and add digital harshness to it. I i used to use that waves 1073 all the time when i recorded with my scarlett. But when i got a great river preamp i never used it cuz i didnt like what it was giving me. Waves emulation plugins overall has this digital harshness to them, to my ears
Great video! For the who didn’t know! That stupid a** calculator thing right! I ain’t got time for all that 😂😂 vocal bender goated frfr too easy to use…bro you should of demonstrated a small piece...
Thanks for everything but should i put all that plugins one by one on a vocal chain??
🔥 video
for any and all beginners watching this just a side note I think should be pointed out is there is no such thing as "the pro sound" and I dont mean it to throw shade or downplay buddy's vid. yes the 73 into 1176 then LA-2A is a common and much used setup tht ppl use as a signal / tracking chain but u will not be sounding professional just cuz u go buy these plugins and screenshot settings does not at all guarantee u will not have that "pro sound"..can u mimic the setups and equipment that the "pros" use ?..kinda, I guess in a way yes but even as good and authentic some plugins are these days there will never be that same exact sound and feel that analog gear gives u..but dont even worry or bother wasting time with endless yt vids repeating the same "content" over and over trying to figure out some secret setting or plugin ..remember a lot of the major artist record in state of the art industry studios with 100s of thousands of $ in gear and equipment and professional sound treatment witch all factor into the sound u get. my advice (from personal experience and lots of time wasted watching yt) focus more time and spend more time on your recording process and technique, obv yt vids can be helpful to learn quick basics or setup and mixing so u can get an idea where and how to start but dont waste your time or money buying or downloading tons of templates and presets ..youll use them a few times but once u know wut ur doing and learn how to use and setup plugins you WILL absolutely find your own sound , try some templates and see wut u like and eventually you'll be making your own temps and Vox chains and wen u get grooving like tht you'll come to realize most of the shit ppl recycle on yt is common sense or stuff tht isn't actually gonna get u where your trying to go ..and PLZ dont forget big recording artists and rappers are using very expensive mics and analog equipment tht are the best quality , but at the same time many have and still do record and make great music with very minimal setups . a lot of artist have a decent MacBook Pro or Mac mini with an Apollo twin (solo is more than good enough) a decent mic , some common ones are usually U87s , Sony c800 etc (those are the 2 most common for rap) and one of the most popular mics that is very affordable and very good quality that many rappers use as well as literally every and any genre is the good ole trusty workhorse THE SHURE SM7B..great mic affordable price , super durable and tuff and sooo versatile ..popular choice for rappers recording in home stu"s and pretty much anywhere. its seen in the biggest industry studios used by some of the biggest names . if u have a favorite rapper or album chances are some of they songs were done on an sm7b..rode nt1 is also a great affordable price but either way for under 1k (assuming u have a decent computer) u can get a great mic (sm7b - $400) and interface with great extras included (UAD appolo solo - $499) and have all u need to make a billboard hit ..most of it comes down to skill/talent , experience and work ethic..put the time in and just start recording dont worry bout all the other shit , really it'll just slow u down and distract u from simply hitting record and getting started ..good luck
