When I tried to purchase TIS subscription, it additionally required me to have a business insurance of $500k.

Can you share what page did you use for subscription? May be I’m not on the right product

@halfglassfull

Old but good. Do you remember what firmware the cable is running? Alot of conflicting info out there and all the j2534 cables show 1.x firmware but other folks say 2.04 is needed.

@geozerogeorge8050

Hi...this the best 'tutorial' on Techstream that I've seen (and I've seen a bunch). I am hoping that this gets to you even though I know this video is a few years old. I've recently purchased the cable and software and begun using it. However, it seems the functionality is limited. I can 'see' all the ECU's in the list, but many of the ones I want to interact with have the * stating that "ECU not supported or not responding"...but its doing it for the TPMS, immobilizer, SRS, which I know the truck is equipped with. Any idea WHY???? or how to get around this? I really want to program a key using the software (I was able to program a remote), but the key is under immobilizer and that is one of the ECU's that has the *. your help is really appreciated! thanks!!

@fancy8365

Can you link what one on ebay you got? Also is techstream free where did you download it? Does it work in a Toyota from 2018? I want to save all my stuff so if I have any issues coding is saved and take off seatbelt warning because it's superloud and annoying. I didn't save every thing on my last car and when I had some issues with electrical no one could fix it but dealership.

or is it just a diagnostic?
that is, are the various pumps activated to change the various fluids?
