if i am not mistaken when you come home after ww1, you experience something called shell shock, it is now known as post-traumatic stress disorder, or (PTSD).

the symptoms of shellshock are:

fear, anxiety, panic, tremors, loss of sight or hearing, and extreme fatigue.
