Joking aside, as someone who had one of their shirts and grew up having D.A.R.E shoved down my throat, I can completely relate with Jen here.

I remember them making drugs seem cool trying to scare us. Their heart was in the right place, but that program was so mishandled and watched as my friends around me really get into drugs.

Another thing you can derive from their mistakes is that trying to scare the crap out of your clients/users to get them to take security seriously will be undermined if you're misframing why they should care.
