@And_stuff8

I'll miss this series.

@TheLaughingPanda

How we know John is Episcopalian:
"May the Force be with you."
"And also with you."

@jacobkeyser8628

I’m sad this is the final episode. Would to get more. This has been a fantastic series

@a_weird_mess3

Can’t believe this course is ending :(

This has been such a fun learning experience, thank you ❤

@shmowen

I've been watching Crash Course since 2014, and yet, every time a series ends, I find myself feeling a nostalgic melancholy, like the last day spent in your middle school or high school, walking the halls of the mostly empty building that smells of summer and a world that you no longer belong to.
Thank you for another great series!

@ziongali2096

We can still see Pop Culture influencing religion today. The Catholic Church recently released a new mascot, Luce, a very anime/manga-inspired character that made a pretty big splash online when she was revealed!

@alysonmarie

This was an excellent series! Congratulations to the crew and all of your hard work. Thank you ❤

@jeanettejochebed8405

Heya John! This series has been really enlightening and I'm sad to see it go. It really broadened my perception of the notion of religion itself and made me understand different beliefs more. I believe that if people viewed religion through what this series has taught, we'd definitely have less fighting among ourselves. Cheers to the next series! ❤🎉

@gregoryfenn1462

The religious themes in Severance would be a good case study

@8thFurno

Here’s a fun fact. Back last year when I was taking a world religions class in my last semester of high school, for each religion we studied (Christianity, Hinduism, Buddhism, Islam and Judaism) we had to do a film study. And the film our teacher made us watch for the Buddhism unit was Empire Strikes Back, pointing out that in the film there’s a lot of interesting parallels to how the Force is portrayed and elements of the real world religion.

“May the force be with you”
“And also with you”
Love when some Episcopalian slips out

@ODISeth

Shoutouts to the video editor or vfx specialist who did the masking out of that lightsaber when it "retracted" haha! I know that can't have been easy but I only noticed it for a brief frame or two, good job!

@Miss_Claire

I feel like we should get a History of Religion series next, It's so vast and directly contributes to why our society exists as it does. I'm not religious at all but I find the history of religion to be fascinating and enlightening.

@nettlesandsnakes9138

Hello old people, you see YouTube is like TV except you can pause it and ads are way more intrusive and seen as an obstruction not as a part of the program.

@nebulan

I didn't have Shmi and Qui-Gon in thought-bubble style on my bingo card today but I LOVE IT!

@meadowrae1491

Thank you, John. I've been using this series to introduce my kid to the concept of religion. You and the Crash Course Team have done a lot of good here.

@pedrostormrage

11:29 "I find hope in the stories we've learned in this series, and I also find much to lament" Which is why we need "religions 2.0", which keep the good parts (ethics, comfort, community) but take out the bad ones (intolerance, dogmatism, violence).

@mrphilosopher3games

Hate to see this series end! Great work like always JG and co!

@AllenGrimm1145

9:27 Seeing an animated Karkat cosplayer in the finale of one of Crash Course’s best series to date? A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one.

@otamans

Thank you Crash Course and Especially John. Your influence on my life Long learning journey has been and is tremendous. I appreciate you for that.
