You know a soundtrack is good when it's still stuck in your head 15 years later.
“So long, son. Good luck with your dastardly plans.” I always loved how energetic the two were, and then there’s the father, just chilling.
A friendly family moment with Jeff Bezos and his son, Ultron.
My only dissapointment from this movie is that this song is too short.
ultimate irony here is madame gasket is the spitting image of an outmode, belching smoke from her numerous vents and looking for all the world like a clump of scrap metal
Watching as a kid: “Evil factory is using scrap to make new parts” As an adult: “...... they’re harvesting corpses and organs to make new bodies that other people will wear...”
I was absolutely terrified of the sweepers when I was younger
All evilness aside, it's kinda sweet how surprisingly genuine Ratchet's relationship with his mom
That factory breaks so many union codes
"So long, son! Good luck with your dastardly plans!" Supportive father 💯
I love the aesthetic of the whole underground area. Nothings shiny, everything’s all sharp and rusty. It has such a different look to everything else in the movie
Despite the film's lack of popularity, I absolutely admire Madame Gasket as a villain. She understands the power of one, that one person is all it takes to make a difference. She also acknowledges that an idol like Bigweld still has power among the people, even when he's not around. She knows that if he ever returned, he can easily make the people rise up against her because they look up to him.
"Are you hungry? Can I get you something? You look thin..." I just love how despite her being all evil and scary, her mother instincts show from time to time thoughout the movie.
Blows my mind that Underground is an actual song and the composer added so much to it over/it for this scene
I just love the sense of rhythm in this scene, it's intoxicating.
0:56 CEO Jeff Bezos arrives at local Amazon warehouse (2019, colorized)
Who’s here 20 years later? I watched this movie over and over as a kid and for whatever reason loved this scene.
Gotta love how absolutely chill Ratchet's Dad is with essentially being his Wife's prisoner 🤣
so long son, good luck with your dastardly plans
