This was an amazing deep dive, you covered the timeline and all possible outcomes in a way I could very easily keep up. Normally I get lost in crime docs because of too much detail being thrown at us too quickly. You can also hear how passionate you are to get answers for Maura's family. Great coverage. This is one of those cases that has been on my mind for years and I've watched a lot of coverage on it. Personally, I dealt with alcoholism in my 20's and I can attest that it makes you very paranoid and you tend to make irrational decisions, especially to cover for your drinking. I believe she fled the scene on her own. Especially since the alcohol was gone. If she had a drinking problem, then she wouldn't leave behind the booze. What happened to her after that, I don't know.

I am a graduate of Whitman-Hanson RHS and my sister was in the same class as Maura. I remember her disappearance being a big topic of discussion for those of us from Whitman and Hanson back in 2004. Never imagined we'd still not have an answer in 2025.
