Landers still showing plenty of promise and aren't out of the competition yet. They hang in there even when being dominated in the scrum and breakdown, and fight hard. They can be lethal on attack. Hastie, Gilbert and Lasaqa stood out for me, along with the usual big names

Highlanders should feel aggrieved by the refs decision s.There was a clear shoulder charge on Hastings.No penalty awarded.A couple of times Landers were over the ball when Brumbies held on. He refused to penalise them. I am no expert in scrums,but the two resets when Landers where dominant,you can only wonder.

Close game from the highlights shown. You get the feeling that there is more in the tank for both teams. They better sort it out pdq or they'll be left behind from the flying starts other are having.

Honestly I think the ref goes both ways. Can't have a victim mentality and we need to take accountability for our losses. Our scrum was terrible, kicked multiple balls dead, ultimately too many errors which cost us. We would really benefit from a consistent fullback + flyhalf. On a positive note I thought lasaqa, tangitau and nareki had a good game
