@ZachsTechTurf

Do you like or dislike VSync?

@LeonZolikj

I think Zach should buy me a door.

@PlayNeth

Cap the fps -3 fps below monitor refresh rate and enable freesync instead. No tearing, no vsync microstutter, best of both worlds.

@trebol989

Don't let this thing distract you from the fact that bungee gum has the properties of both gum and rubber.

@skylerwhite9869

60 FPS cap on 144 Hz is what I'm talking about!

@brockchipchura3429

Thats why monitors that support g-synk/freesynk are a must. Silky smooth no screen tearing.

@MarauderYT

This is why VRR is such a big selling point nowadays, it’s the best of both worlds. You get to eliminate tearing, and you get new frames as soon as your GPU renders them, meaning slowdown, instead of going down to half the framerate for but a moment, will literally just display frames more slowly, which will hugely improve the smoothness of the experience.

@CatFish21sm

Aso good to note Vsynch is different for each game you play. I've noticed a huge difference between certain games. I have it enabled for some but not for others.

@ac3kn0ws9

I officially love you, your ans is so nice and good for the community

@frankiefromky

if you're playing a game with parry mechanic, turn vsync off. The input Lat. will wreck your timing... coming from experience.

@steel.9k

Funny thing is theres now things like gsync and other settings combined with vsync that will result in reduced lag and latency but people dont know that

@georgyzhukov7734

I always use a fps cap BUT some older games don't have that. So instead of getting 300+ fps or having to cap it in driver settings, I just use VSync. It's just easy and reliable.

@Höllenbringer-Community

i dont hate to see it, it actively drives me insane

@Kurazarrh

Vsync on here, but make sure you do it through your GPU settings and not the in-game ones. Makes a world of difference, and GPUs have different vsync options which can be set on a per-game basis, which may be needed as some games handle some methods better than others.

@PSIworld13

I hate screen tearing with a PASSION. VSync stays on in this house.

@gtALIEN

one of your better videos. u were really articulate in this one, good job

@testepic-lz6kv

BF4 footage makes me feel happy of the reminder that the game is still popular

@_CoreVibes_

Whats the difference between V-sync and just capping your fps?

@meatpopsicle_45

I've been playing with V-sync for years. Never seen any latency.

What I have noticed is that with V-sync on if the GPU still need to drop some frames in very demanding scenes it won't drop it to 10-20 frames, but will cut it in half.

@YoutubeBloopers

I tell you what being in the tech business myself you’re about one of the only people on YouTube that reliably can teach me new stuff, much appreciated 🙌
