Interesting to see this, my Dad's first car was a 'jelly mould' Regal, the sahpe before this. In the 1990's I got a cheap Reliant Robin as a fun car and had it for years. More fun than any other car I've had, I'd love another one day! On trips up to the Colne blues festival I'd drive past the two factories shown here, long ago closed down, and now they're gone completely, it's a housing estate with roads named after Reliant themes. Lovely little cars.

@julianday

Shame they had to close. These cars provided cheap transport to a lot of people ,including myself. I found it made me a better driver more able to adapt to conditions. I had my 1969 Regal 21e for many years until a car ran into it. Very reliable motor.

Why do people constantly harp on about three wheelers "safety" yet never mention anything about motorcycles? I know which I'd prefer to be controlling in an accident, given the hypothetical situation.
