Used to find loads of British .303 in my local park that was an army base for British and Canadian troops in ww2 plenty of .45acp as well not to mention a few other bits we found with metal detectors in the 70s and 80s . Stuck a few .303 in my bolt action webley .410 every now and then one went off to our suprise. Most were headstamp 1939 to 1943 . And thats after being buried for 35 odd years. Stupid i know but thats kids for ya. I still have that little webley to this day and the bore is like new.
Lol the opening is like sherlock holmes moment
I have washed numerous pistol rounds with laundry. They have all fired.
Brasso my friend. Brasso. Also that DA556 looks suspiciously like a Norinco CQ.
I, like a lot of range goers I would imagine, have picked up FTF rounds, and when I put them in my Mossberg WVP, 5.56 rifle they usually do fire...so I had my 'fingers crossed' on this one.
Oh I bet it will be fine. I have a bunch of .244 Remington ammo that spent more than half a century in my great grandpa's damp basement, just in a cardboard box, that still shoots fine.
I`m impressed. More videos like this! Like.
IVI cranks out good stuff.
I suddenly have a very strong urge to go to the range after the local police have been there just to see what kind of treasure I can find.
I wouldn't worry too much about the primer going off in the tumbler, but is it possible that the consistency of the powder could be changed - broken up grains from the hour of tumbling?
I have nearly a full box of Range recovered IVI 5.56 that I got in the same manner as you. It’s a mix of 77gr hp (like on your video) and 62 gr fmj. Of the ones I have shot all fired successfully
Ever thought the round could go off in the tumbler?
Why exactly, if you know, were so many of your videos demonetized by YouTube? Just because of general subject (firearms, shooting at range, ammo reviews), or something more specific?
Cool video
I got a QUESTION: I didn't think that CANADIAN'S could have AR-15's especially with a 30 rounder. ASSALT WEAPONSs as they are called in the States.
Is that a Colt scope on your AR?
Give a try...if not... .make great keychain
