Good info brother thanks, hope you and your family are safe there in Canada too 👍
Finally Im aware all the tools available in garage. Thank you very much!
I have a bunch of the MEN 303 and Swiss gp-11. I have reloaded Berdan pruned 6.5 Dutch with good success. Just hoarding the others for a rainy day when I need brass. The MEN 303 is incredibly high quality
Great information
I used a block of wood, a piece of pipe, a large bolt and some rubber to make a deprimer for any size of berdan primed brass. Only issue is its hard to get berdan primers as compared to regular boxer type. So I just ended up buying boxer type brass for all of my guns. If I could drive down the street and but the appropriate size berdan primers I would certainly load berdan brass.
Brilliant!
I've a question: and perhaps I'm missing something here, if into reloading, I imagine one can use the decaping feature of the die? I mean, it's a standard process, of resizing and decaping primer at the same time. Or, is there a primer removal issue with that type of ammo? This procedure is ingenious, but seems more trouble than its worth. I'm just saying. Also wonder if this works on other type cases..
Any good resources for 303 loads? I got some brass I've been scrounging and dies arrived in the mail today.
That's usin' yer noggin'. Thanks for the tip.
question is where to get Berdan primers though, I seen a video before somewhere a guy use copper piping to covert it into boxer, but that's a lot of work
Can ya use Boxer primers after doing this on my spent GP-11 brass ?? Thank You..
OK now that they are deprimed what kind of primer are you going to put in them now??
Do you reprime the primers with compound, or do they sell berdan primers?
Were these primers live when you removed them?
I'd love to reuse that GP11 brass.
Gotta appreciate hydraulics 👍🏻
I’ve got a ton of these I’ve been hanging on to, but where do you get the primers?
I threw a ton off Brendan cartridges away Still have some NNY privi stamped 8mm surplus from century arms, Fired, but its berdan 1986 dated Have a tin of priners here I think are berdan...fairly big if we chat online again. I can show them to you .i got them in a deal on powder bullets Guy wasnt sure what they were for
