Tether always seems to take the heat, while other projects go unnoticed. Considering Tether has been fully compliant, this feels more like a distraction than a real issue.

the “usdt is bad” narrative makes no sense—exchanges haven’t delisted it, and it’s still heavily used by institutions. it’s hands down the best stablecoin at the moment, imo.

Honestly, MiCa is overhyping this. Tether’s been on top for ages, and nothing has gone wrong. Plus, they’ve been aligning with US and other international rules lately.

could this be allaire’s play? it’s only hurting usdc’s standing against usdt. tether wouldn’t target other stablecoins over some unclear “compliance” argument. usdc looks like it’s being positioned as a government tool. distrust.
