Great tutorials, very clear to follow. I’ve been muddling my way through the system so these step by steps help to understand the fundamentals.

One thing to note/troubleshoot: The DE that is created as part of the automation (7:46) always lands in the same folder of the DE that was initially chosen.

HI Shane... wonderful vedio and very insightful. Just a quick clarification. we are creating a data relationship to enable the filter the records based on the attribute from the list. Also,we do the same data relationship in Contact Builder for our attribute groups. what is the difference between these two activities. Can we do the data relationship here in Email studio and use the same in Contact Builder Data Designer.

primary difference i see is that when you set the data relationship in Contact builder, the data modification will be locked for that DE as it needs to be a static copy (snapshot) entry source into the Journey Builder.

Very nicely-informed video. I have a question how can we automate syncing of Synchronized Data Extension to an already created Data Extension?

@sistabala

Nice video - thanks for the doing this, I was stumbled upon one of the issues and video resolved the same.

@labruda

Hi, awesome content. I have a technical question.
Between Query activities and Filters, what are the advantages of using Filters?
Aren't queries more powerful? Or in which case would you recommend using filters (knowing SQL)?
Thanks a lot!!

@thebelgianclubbingscene

Great video, thank you. However I still have a question. I have 10 different data extension. I want for each data extension automated filters based on the language they speak. I have 20 languages to filter on. Do I need to build all the language filter per language for each data extension in the automation studio or is there a quicker way? Let's say use the same language filter for all data extensions?
Because now I build 20 language filter for each data extension (10). So 20*10=200 filters. An quicker way could really safe me a lot of time :-)

@section31

This is a dumb question, but how did you create the all contacts data extension lol.
