Great film, only downside, was how massive the black bars are, top and bottom, making the film viewing style, letter box. If you add both of them bars up its about half of your actual screen size. 7.7 Stars for the movie, great job and not low acting like you see in movies without a big budget.

i wish this were a high budget film and not a C-lister. cryptids are cool and deserve the full power of hollywood's capabilities and CGI

Pretty fun movie! Acting was decent, and the thing itself looked pretty neat (..at least the closeup shots that made it look cool, but seeing the full creature was like.. aw man 🤣)) Respect for them keeping all the effects and stuff practical though👌

Was really impressed by the actors on this, not just the two main ones (natural talent) but the background, the locals, all very polished and natural. Director will go far - it's nice to see an intelligent film for once, despite it being a creature feature.

The movie was actually good. Kinda makes you think twice before going hiking in the woods or throwing out the trash at night. As far as the scares, suspense and acting, the movie delivered on all 3. Some might not like the monster effects though. The ending makes you wonder if there will be a part 2. Finally a movie that doesn't rely on today's movie cliches (vapid teen victims, misandry, feminist tropes, weak male characters, CGI, final girl chase scene, etc).

Acting was decent, but if you want to actually SEE the monster in a monster movie, maybe sit this one out? The acting made me believe this wasnt just some B movie (which I usually like those too) but the monster was mostly disappointing to me. Those scenes were so dark it wasnt worth the anticipation. If you like the suspense more than the monster itself, this is the movie for you.
