I like to use the analogy that Michel Angelo did not carve the sculpture masterpiece “David”. That it was already fully formed within the slab of marble and what Michel Angelo did was to simply remove everything that was not the masterpiece and in doing so the masterpiece was revealed. He got rid of the rubble and what was left was the masterpiece “David”. So, in your own life simply remove the rubble and the masterpiece that is your life will be revealed. I said it was simple…I never said it would be easy.

I’d also suggest to just follow your heart and see what works for you in how you operate in the world, there’s only one unique you and what you have to offer is authentic. Be done living in someone else’s image and with the need to conform. The fullness and originality is something you can’t fully express linearly, it can only be embodied and experienced.

Yes just be present and reflect your authentic self no matter the outcome, perfect order comes out of it, control is totally an illusion and society is really just conditioned to not be ok with rejection and just endless restless for more and more. Once you surrender you also learn so much from experiences.

Hi there! Welcome to the real world. It's great to set some goals. As long as you enjoy the trip to get there, it's great. Your set goals will never materialize, anyway. They might, but it will never be what you thought it would be. Simply because of time; when you set your goals, you're a different person from when you reach your destination. Thanks to outside influences & personal growth. So, your destination is never what you imagined. ps. "god" is fine. I'd prefer "the existence of time passing by".

Krysta the human seems pretty cool (hope I spelled your name right!). Surrendering control is so often easier said than done. I think control is derived by fearing an unknown outcome. And, when you really think about it -- especially if you're alive and well in the present moment -- our lives are generally A- okay without the pending doom coming into play as we so feared. Realizing and trusting this reality is a healthy path to more consistent surrender. Thanks again for your shared thoughts!.

I just want a job so that I can afford February's rent, food, insurance, and to save enough money to be able to replace my scooter if it gets stolen. I can't afford the insane full coverage insurance. It feels like the universe wants me to be homeless. This has been going on for so long that its becoming inevitable despite me NOT wanting it. I can't even get a fast food place to hire me. It must be because I'm older. Age discrimination is real.
