@BoyNamedKelly

Just had mine this week! I was nervous. Looking back, it was wayyyyy easy. Felt NOTHING. I'm so glad I did it. It was a nice experience. If you're getting one, don't worry! You'll feel so comfy falling asleep so fast and you'll wake up feeling great.

@paulthegreat3521

God bless you and I pray you never have to worry with cancer again.

@JPHET37

I just got mine done at 53 only 1 polyp removed all good . My father died from colon cancer don’t want to end up like him. My life style changed i started to eat more healthy diet food like fish, broccoli , carrots, spinach every week for the last 12 years. Please people go it it checked no money in the world can save you once the cancer advanced. I’m not off the hook yet the doc said I have to check it again in 3 years I’ll be ready for it. Good luck y’all ! 😊

@lynndinovo3500

The worst part of colonoscopy is the prep. The procedure is worth the feeling you're cancer free. The twilight sedation provides for a great nap.

@rodneyyoung8096

I'm glad to hear your colon cancer is gone .
  I've had a colon ascopy.
They recently found a mass, and they suspect cancer.
 So hears the thing. Your good news gives me hope in case they find cancer . Biopsy results aren't in yet.
 Hopefully, you live a long, fulfilling life.
  My brother in law was positive. He's made the best of his life and
35 years later, he is still here. 👍

My first colonoscopy prep 17 years ago was awful. I was supposed to drink the full gallon before midnight. I couldn't do it, and tried to finish it when I woke up before I left for the hospital. The one I had two weeks ago went much better. Half a gallon between 3-6 p.m., and half between 11:30p.m.-2:30 a.m. I poured 8 oz. of water into an old jelly jar and marked it with a rubber band around the ouside of the jar. I dumped the water and filled the jar with the prep solution up to the rubber band and drank it with a straw, one dose every 20 minutes. Drinking it cold helped, as did the straw. The procedure was under sedation, and it went fine. I had one small polyp removed, and it was benign. I made the mistake of eating my normal diet the next day, and I was in pain three days later. Give your system a break, and eat a bland, easy to digest diet for three or four days after your procedure.

Congratulations on it being cancer-free. I get one done every 2 years and so far I have gone four years cancer-free. And you're right it is not the most fun thing in the world but at least we're both alive and able to enjoy the world🎉

@miguela.briganttibrigantti2906

I have colitis so I have to do it every year! Lol.. glad you are cancer free! God is good...much blessings 😇🙏⚘️

@pamelasahdev-gy4of

I just had mine today. Easiest prep is Gatorade, I like the blue one, Dulcolax and MiraLAX. It doesn’t taste bad and it’s easy to drink. As for the colonoscopy itself, it is such a nothing. I can’t believe I resisted having one for so many years. You check in they put you to sleep. You wake up, no discomfort and you go out to breakfast. Don’t put it off. It is nothing to be afraid of and it could save your life.

@sajda1591

Im glad you are cancer free! Im getting a colonoscopy in 2 days its my first time im rlly not looking forward to my prep tomorrow :(

@Tricia2023

I’m so glad your cancer free ❤ I’m doing mine tomorrow morning and this prep taste like crap 😩 I’m not liking it at all lol Wish me luck 🍀

@queenwein16

Congrats on cancer free girl!! Hey peeps listen up, these procedures literally save lives. I am going for my 8th tomorrow (yes colon cancer runs in my fam). When I was 40, I had my first done. They found 1 mm and one 5 mm precancerous polyp. The dr said that I would have had Stage IV Colon Cancer by 45 had I not had my procedure done. I am 46 now. I am also getting an endoscopy tomorrow because I had a hiatal hernia repair in November and need to make sure the wrap is in place and everything repaired looks good. I always look forward to the little nap during the procedure. Please get checked!

@joannefonceca7446

I'm so happy for you 🙌🏼 I'm getting both ends day after tomorrow.Last time 2 years ago I woke up to stage 3 esophagus Cancer.I'm praying all is well 🙏🏼

@kylewells8845

Just had mines over the weekend.
People exaggerated the whole process.

I pooped like 10x total after both doses 1 dose 4p 8oz 15min intervals (1hr)the day before and the 2nd dose at 8a the next morning same regiment..
The powder pack I had was lemon lime it was just a lil salty to me but drunk down both 32oz with no problem...
I was sedated bout 45min later woke and give God the glory had 4 polyps which they removed non-cancer..AMEN..
PLEASE I'M BEGGING GET IT DONE ASAP IF YOU DO IT YOU WONT REGRET..
DEFINITELY made rethink my diet...
