Bolo you’re getting better at triggering the algorithm. Channel is on fire for the 2025
I gotta agree with Bolo on this one. When people use multiple Daws you get a better understanding of the limitations of Daws and their strengths.
I've been using Reason for 19 years. Once it got audio recording, I haven't used any other DAW unless you count the MPC software which I use as a VST with my MPC
Most of us get what you’re saying. Avid seems to be focusing on their customers buying their hardware who have invested in their ecosystem and not making a priority to be competitive with other DAWs.
Bolo I’m a couple of blocks from your house. I see about 56 purple SUVs. I think I heard them say Bolo Bolo come out to play.😅😢😂
You had my wife Miss America, cracking up 😂 with that purple light
At 14:25, there's a way to do exactly what you're asking. Highlight the tracks you want to add to a Bus, right click and choose to put them In a Routing Folder. That will make a Sub Bus for those tracks that you can process with plugins, have Sends to route to another bus (like a reverb or delay), and because it's a Folder Track, you can close it up if you don't need to see those lanes/tracks and clean up your Edit Window.
Longtime Pro Tools user and I feel you Bolo. You're absolutely right, Avid needs to step their game up 💯
Pro-Tools is more for Engineers than Producers.
I have been a long time Sonar user and only recently started using studio one. I get why people like to use protools but the things I've learned using Sonar over the years is priceless and my workflow is nearly seamless. Ive tinkered with Protools but couldn't see what the fuss was about.
That shutdown issue in pro tools is what stop me from learning pro tools I didn't know that was normal as in it never will get fixed or solved
I'm gona say this again: It's all about less clicks and more features in a DAW based system, people seek and want these days — especially amongst these young kids. I was invited to a convention after NAMM last year. This guy was giving some mixing and mastering "tips" to a group of students both in Audio and Flim. One female student asked a very interesting question; and that was — why Pro tools feels so heavy. I'm not gona lie, I'm going on 20 years' experience working in PT . . . I feel that at times.
Man, going from reaper to protools was like putting on handcuffs
I agree...I have s1 pro, cubase pro, pro tools studio, reason, ableton, logic, fl studio etc etc and cubase has the BEST time stretch algorithm but yeah, pro tools needs to step IT UP!
I agree 100% with you! I just built my home studio and I’m trying to decide on my go to Daw. My 3 choices are LOGIC, STUDIO 1 and REAPER. Trying to decide which one will be the fastest to learn.
You’re absolutely correct about your assessment of Protools. It’s at the bottom of the totem pole now.
I switched to mixcraft one of the best softwares ever. And I’ve used them all. And my workflow has been great.
Great video, bro. I just just just finished editing female backing track in Studio One. I timed AND pitched corrected her vocals and it is Clean!!! Don’t sound robotic, don’t sound Auto tuned. Clean. Only took me 15 minutes. As far as Studio One, you are 100% correct.
I like this format. Extending the conversation through the entire week allows you to fully flesh out your perspective and address some if the responses. Good convo
