So this is a 1.2GHz transceiver, if my recover in my phone can communicate with the router how is this receiver any different? Don’t buy this, it doesn’t work.

A Not good didn't work properly failed any problems all of time diffuser cannot fixed enough only unavailable services Wi-Fi until connection.

this is a crappy 2.4 ghz wifi extender not amplifier, lasts couple months then it dies
