CSS Age and Attempt Limit – Update
A resolution has recently been passed in the National Assembly proposing an increase in the upper age limit for CSS to 35 years and the number of attempts to 5.
However, please note:
This is currently only a recommendation and2 not an official change in policy.
The proposal will now be reviewed by the federal government and the FPSC. Any changes to the existing rules will take place only after official approval and notification is issued.
Until then, the current rules still apply:
Age limit: 30 years (32 for specific areas)
Number of attempts: 3
Important: Do not delay or skip your attempt based on this resolution.
Resolutions are frequently passed, but implementation is a separate process and may take time.
Stay committed, stay focused, and continue your preparation under the existing rules.
