Thank you for this honest review. Those of us with darker complexions shouldn't have to sacrifice sun protection by applying less than the recommended amount of spf in order to get the product to not look ashy. And mixing the product with foundation will affect its efficacy as well. Colorescience needs to go back to the drawing board with this one, because no.

I use the same brand. You and I have a similar skin tone, but I was recommended the shade: Flex Tan, which actually blends into my skin flawlessly. Also, I don't use it heavy like a makeup base. A little goes a long way then I use a powder to get that smooth, matte finish. Try a different shade. It was recommended to me by a skincare med spa in Jamaica. They matched my shade perfectly. 👌🏾

I am so happy someone did a review on this. I know mineral sunscreen is best and I like color science but even though they say it’s complexion matching it still looks very white on our melanated skin tone.

This just shows that the product does work. It's like suncreen with foundation, perfect. The lie however, is the statement that it adjusts to the wearers' skin tone. Because for lighter skin tone, this product will be magic. The company is still misleading. You can't say it's for everyone when it's not.
