Seems like (most) your grips seem figured out in the second game haha. Good video man
You gotta remember that the game development was heavily restricted but great video very in depth and well made you got a sub from me. Your point on warriors is spot on though my exact complaint!
A bonus observation that wasn’t foundational enough to be in the video: In a later hallway on Bitterblack Isle, there are beacons that can be lit for light and a temporary holy spell effect to help out with enemy encounters. The problem is, that if you examine one, and then choose not to light it (or accidentally back out), you cannot then re-examine it (presumably without reloading the area). Edit: (High) Anodyne could also do with some more transparency, as it sometimes makes it difficult to see.
I think a cool use of the forgery mechanic could have been making cosmetic armor pieces. So you know how everyone says how they have to sacrifice stats for style? This could be solved by allowing the arisen to make forgeries of clothing and armor pieces that don't give any stat bonuses, but can be worn over the equipment that provides stats so you can have the best of both worlds. I think this would be very intuitive and easy to use, but optional and out of the way enough that people who don't care for it don't even have to give a thought to it.
OH MY GOD YOU CAN PRESS CIRCLE ON THE OX TO MAKE IT MOVE FASTER it deals a fair bit of damage, but still... this makes the mission more bearable on repeat runs
I remember I rode a cyclope down everfall, skipping the entire dungeon
