I have used copilot to generate various diagrams, sequence, data flow, dependency, etc. I just ask it to create them as a mermaid document and then I can put that into a markdown file and have it easily rendered. Definitely something I had not thought of doing originally.
Fabuloso video en donde se demuestra el potencial que tiene Copilot para darle ayuda efectiva a los programadores más avanzados y alos prinicipiantes un aliento para continuar aprendiendo. Mucahs gracias
Thanks. I like the way you showed this. Calm and precise. I think the background melody is just disturbing.
I agree with the learning part, it's definitely accelerated my learning as a university student 😅
Out of all this, I would be looking forward to getting good Unit Tests that can provide the needed code coverage percentage that is usually around 90%. Everything in this video was good! Good pace and it is really an amazing tool of tools, sheesh!!
Love your videos and demos. Would it be possible to have a video with examples for more advanced devs? Interesting would be to see how MS advanced devs use copilot in their daily routine in a more "live" situation and less "demo/presentation" format. Thank you.
I just got in the Copilot workspace beta and context info is SO much better with it. However, it's started generating a lot of irrelevant code instead of just the answer or specific code snippet I need. How can I have "standing instructions" added to the prompt?
Pretty exciting, honestly. Now I just have to learn to unhate Microsoft. This is helping.
Thank you, Copilot team, for doing an excellent job overall. Personally, I would like to see the Custom Instructions improved. It would also be great to have a chat participant like @prompt who would improve more complicated prompts or make regular ones better.
I tried this and was hopeful when I saw the file structure created. But then I when I opened each file I discovered that the content was all the same. My .js, css, cs, .html all had the file structure as content in them. So that did not work at all.
Skipping mcd's and subbed to copilot! best $10 sub ever!!
Awesome video!
16:15 prompt for brainstorming
I will now use the refactoring option
The experimental reference to files is great but fails to adapt to updated features or versions in frameworks. E.g Rails 7 or 8. You cannot keep adding new references to the .md file especially has PRs get approved frequently. Similar issues with PHP.
When should we use each of the models available right now: 4o, o1-mini and o1-preview?
Will it attack my security issues and help me get my phone back? 7:23 😢
help to understand search something like specifc keywork , some message etc in big logs file
