I’m genuinely happy to hear that. As a kid I once saw him while on the school trip to NYC, I spotted him hanging out on the sidewalk while our bus was stationary at a light. All the kids shouted with glee at him, & he looked up a little startled & smiled. I thought he might have been peeved that I blew his cover, but now I know for sure he we made his day brighter :)

He is the celebrity I’ve probably seen the most around NYC. And he is telling the truth - whenever I’ve seen him - he is always nice and always cool to everyone who recognizes him. I have to say though - there have been times I see him on the train or walking around and no one recognizes him at all! I think that’s why celebrities enjoy living here in NYC. People are rushing around and are so busy all the time that they often don’t recognize when famous people are among them!

well when I was working at AMC in 2011 in Boston, I remembered he came up to me when I was at Box-office and he wanted to see Moneyball and I said to him "I just saw your movie Crazy Stupid Love and I loved it"... he put his hat on and said "Yeah." And then put on his glasses and walked away fast. I was excited at first then I felt shut down. I understood if he had a bad day but I've seen his films since Tremor came out. I was hoping for a different reaction from him.

This makes complete sense, actors get into the business because at an early age they desire to be on a stage with all eyes on them and people cheering for them. Some people want to be the center of attention, why would this change as they get older? Not saying actors are completely vain, but acting requires a certain level of vanity.
