I appreciate your honesty and insightful comments. I’m a 70 yr old grandma. Introduced to them by my granddaughter in 2015. She wanted me to buy her their 2014 Memories DVD. I checked out their music and lyrics. I bought two copies. One for her and another for me. Been ARMY since then. BTS discography has helped me through tough times.

@PunkRockEomma1

56 year old ARMY since 2018. For big and grand, when you get to watching a live performance, I highly recommend the 2019 MMA awards show. And please know that every time you’re awestruck, ARMY are thinking “Just wait” because we know what’s coming next. This was shot at the Sepulveda Dam in L.A. It was extremely hot when they filmed it but they lived the lyrics “bring the pain on” and worked for 2 days in those jackets and long pants despite the heat. Borahae 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

As Suga says. His normal is our extraordinary. OUr ordinary is his extraordinary. Going to the mall is mundane for us but unique for Suga or BTS because they get mobbed. Luxury hotels is the norm for them and unusual for us. Just different. As they said, a beautiful prison.

@airyfairy2396

Yes, BTS’s songs often have inspiring lyrics. And what makes those lyrics feel genuine —not just shallow— is knowing that they’ve truly walked the path themselves: through countless hardships, challenges, dedication and hard work, rising from the very bottom to the very top. Thank you for your BTS journey!!

Hi! A 69yo silver ARMY here! Watching your reaction to ON made me so happy! One of my favourite of BTS' lyrics is Suga's "Even if my knees drop to the ground...as long as they don't get buried...it won't matter". I've watched tons of reactions to ON, but seldom do I see anyone react to these profound lyrics! Thank you for making my day! I think you would really enjoy watching a short documentary about the recording of the background sounds and music of ON... the UCLA marching band and even a Gospel choir. It shows just how much work was put into the making of ON. The video is entitled "BTS ON Commentary Film: Dialogue". Hope you can react to it as well. Borahae!💜

@btsjoy7

Highly recommend you watch their EPIC live performance of "ON" at the Grand Central Station for the Tonight Show!!

@PrisciladeCarvalho-w1m

Thanks for the reaction! Both the song and the MV convey a powerful energy and vibe with an incredibly inspiring message. It tells us about accepting pain and difficulties as part of life, rather than avoiding them. BTS shows an unwavering determination to move forward, even when obstacles arise (which in the MV can be recognized by the “shadows”). They also address the issue of self-discovery and growth, where they face their fears and become stronger. We can consider this song to be like an anthem about perseverance and inner strength! Borahae! 💜

Oh man it is normal you to check new BTS songs by your own they are coming back and you would need three years reacting everyday to checking all their stuff and if you like it it is normal you to be checking them by your own non stop as all of us did when we doscovered them Borahae 💜

@daleladell803

Funny you should mention marching bands. It's the UCLA Blue Devils marching band that is playing in this song, and some members are the ones in the video with the instruments. There's a great documentary about them recording their parts at UCLA. You should check it out.

@TEREMAGARSA

Jimin's voice and dance captivate me, for me the watermark of BTS.

@Smsm-y7s

KING Jimin is magnificient👑🔥✨️

@tstone1056

Yes, this song is meant to be performed! It was the opening song for their Permission to Dance concerts in LA and Vegas. I was blessed to be able to attend all of them! It's even better live! And the way they change it up is amazing! So incredibly hype as the intro, I could literally feel the whole stadium buzzing with energy. Side note, this was supposed to the the opening song for their Map of the Soul World Tour in 2020, which got canceled bc of covid. They did the Permission to Dance concerts in LA in November/December 2021 and in Vegas in April of 2022, four nights at each location. It wasn't part of a tour as they were winding down in order to take their break and start enlisting in the military. Which is now almost complete!

@ktredmane1209

It’s your channel - do it the way you want to. If someone doesn’t like how you’re doing things, they can go elsewhere. Ignore negative comments - no need to reply - although I did appreciate the spelling correction you made to one negative comment!🥳

@cassiedlp847

I like it when educators like yourself dissect BTS lyrics..they are always a point of conversation..lyrics are what brought me into the BTS famdom

@cynthiaperez2232

This song is from their Map of the Soul series, based on the work of Carl S Jung. Originally, it was slated to be 3 albums. They finished Map of the Soul: Persona. They were working on Map of the Soul: Shadow while preparing for a world tour. And then COVID happened. So.. MOTS: Shadow and MOTS: Ego were condensed together and named Map of the Soul: 7. This song is about them overcoming the shadow-- the part of the psyche holding our deepest fears and negative thoughts.

@iddaalbar2129

This album came out during covid and all of their ON performance were massive with no audiences. They even have one performance in an empty stadium. You definitely should check it out.

@holleynewell1097

7 is also very nice for the stadium tours. You'll see songs with all 7, then just the vocal line, one from the rap line, a couple of solos... It really gives them a ton of room to give dynamic, high-energy performances while allowing individuals to take a break without disrupting the continuity of the show. It's a full three hours of solid engagement.

@ongong9791

They all killed it! Jimin caught my attention as always!!!

@mayianna7805

'ON' has an official music video also. It is like an epic movie... completely unique!
