Exhaust literally saved him. People keep saying it does true damage but it does a percentage based on how much you dealt while in your E therefore reducing the overall damage

To anyone who is saying the exhaust was bad, speaking as someone who's played a lot of yasuo, but more importantly to this example, a lot of support, that use of exhaust saved him, because of the somehow lesser known effect of exhaust, a 40% damage reduction placed on the exhausted player. So yone's following W>Q>E-2 was only doing 60% of its original dmg, very possibly saving that Yasuo's life.
