Hello Sagar! Great video it helped me a lot. Just had another query that I wanted to clarify. I have 5 yrs of experience as web developer but I am an Electronics and Communication Engineer (Btech) and also postgraduate degree holder in computer science major in Java. I got to know from my research that either 2yrs or 4 yrs of experience will be deducted during assessment by ACS to make my qualifications equivalent to Australian standards (please can you put more light on this topic and let me know about the same for my scenario?) . Secondly during the actual application process, which is after assessment from ACS and passing the IELTS with required amount of score (if you can confirm the minimum score of IELTS for software engineer or web developer that will be a clutch), will they also deduct my experience or will it be considered 5 yrs+? Hope to hear from you soon.
Hi Sagar, thanks for your video, it's really good. I just graduated from university. I found it's really hard for graduate students to find a java job in Sydney. Most of the companies only want the people who has more than 2 years work experience. I have been finding jobs for almost 2 months, some companies called me to check whether I have PR, but I haven't. Totally only 4 companies gave me a chance. And I always failed in the online assessment and on-site algorithm test, so should I keep doing exercise on the leetcode? In Sydney, if we want to find a java job, should we learn spring (spring boot, spring mvc, spring data jpa)+react+docker+aws? I only know the spring mvc , hibernate, jquery and bootstrap, but I found most companies want people who know the microservices.
