India should focus on kavery 3.0 fighter aircraft engine and govt. should alocate money for high thrust 90-110 kilo neuton kavery 3.0 engine by GTRE and DRDO. If help needed they should take the help of Russian experts or Bramhos aerospace and ISRO scientists. It can be fit in Tejas mk2, AMCA, TEDBF and should also make high altitude test facility in India for this engine and should do all these in mission mode. GTRE should reduce waight of kaveri 2.0 engine with the use of composite materials soon which will be fit with afterburner developed by Brahmos Aerospace.

India should form a joint company with Russia, on the lines of Brahmos to develop a fifth gen engine. To think that US, UK or France will share their knowledge of engine manufacture with India is to live in fool's world.

I still don't know why India is not considering the Rolls Royce New Engine collaboration with full ToT. And why we are going for GE, and French Engines. When we had very bitter experiences. We need to collaborate with RR and also develop Kavery Engine. Initial cost may be very high but once we get the technology then we could develop more variants.

US blocking GE 414 will not be a problem for India as India will import for domestic purpose and by than develop Kaveri for export

F 414 or Safran engine Tech transfer will never happen . It's just a delayed tactics...and indirectly forcing india to buy fighter aircraft from a foreign OEM. We need to going for Kavari engine and improve it will intence R&D..
