Fun Fact - all of the animation for this game was done by Cartoonland, a Bay Area studio that was only active in the 80's/90's - they animated such characters as the Trix Rabbit and Snap Crackle and Pop, did some award-winning ads for Levi's jeans, and helped out, uncredited, on the 2D FX animation for Nightmare Before Christmas, The Rocketeer, Ghostbusters 2, and Willow!

Honestly, I think this shows that all Arin needs to get over the early-onset freakout that Chess brings is a bit- that Palpatine stuff really kept his head in the game, surprisingly enough

I forgot how funny the death scenes in this game are XD. The best ones are the ones where it's clear the animators were like 'Uh, how would this character kill this one?' '...They probably wouldn't be able to.' 'Well, you gotta figure out something!' 'Okay, okay, fine.'. And just threw something together lol.

This is a game I had as a super small child. I didn't know chess, and I didn't know Star Wars. I would move the pieces until one of them actually would move and would watch the cutscenes in awe. I still have the disc 25 years later even though it doesnt work on modern PCs. This brought back so many memories of being a child. Thanks Grumps
