This model is one of those moment where devs had the same feeling like Oppenheimer and recited the quote, "Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds."

Google's new video generation by prompt thing is scary to me.

@DaniMartVTen

I think Google may have already lost control of their property?

@ruttonoise69

how will searchpage be affected by this "update"?

@Itstwistedroots

I fear a future where the internet is mostly AI agents following prompts. I assume these agents won’t count as internet traffic if they crawl over a blog or something.

Smoke and mirrors again...

@BeatboxBryantcj

Is it coming to Canada

@spiderwebby2

how about a notAI search mode?

@retrogamer4655

Google should have an "AI Mode" as a separate feature and give people the option to search without AI Overview. The AI feature should be a mode that people can choose to use, but the default search shouldn't have AI.

@olaoyeayomide6297

I feel the only difference this AI makes is just to avoid recursion on the part of the user

@narrtaslin2024

What if I don’t want Ai mode? I hate how they just forcibly push it on without the option to not have Ai. Very dystopian

@teamruddy611

Uhhh... Did someone from google accidentally posted the video here? Because this all appears to be stuff that google made, except for the end scene which looks normal...

@dsc5957

Thank goodness we have a company finally giving us AI. We've been asking for AI, and no company has used AI until now. Thank you Google. THANK. YOU.

@TimHunold
