@Kagenoaki

As a former flyer, it takes a boat load of skill, precision and muscle control. Most people think it is just being able to balance and strike a pose not realizing we are actively calculating how much energy we need to put into each move as well as keeping track of where we are aiming for as well as each other while still keeping as much eye contact with the crowd. And honestly the worst thing for us is any drops that are head first or back first because not being able to see where you are falling can really mess with you. And the guys have to be able to carry more than 300lbs because some of those big towers is a combination of varying weights. So watching a three person team perform perfectly makes me smile.

I miss being a cheerleader, I just don't miss all the misses and near misses I suffered. You fly a good 10-15ft in the air and get bruised just landing on your teammates, never mind the really bad bruises or broken bones from smacking into the ground if you accidentally mess up or miss the catch. So a bit of advice for any future/current cheerleaders, practice trust falls, make sure to have a lot of ice packs, tiger balm/icyhot on hand and in my personal opinion, learn to fall in the ground first before practicing the catches. If you learn how to hit the ground and cause as little damage to yourself you can walk away from a bad fall fairly well.

The hug at the end says it all! You 2 are awesome!

@darlenebischoff889

My daughter was a flyer on a competition cheerleading team. These people are athletes. The amount of practice and strength they need to do these stunts is intense.

@miryam2175

Props also to the guy who does everything to catch her every move flawlessly and secured! That requires strength and a lot of sharp focus.

@mamasue7376

Did you seriously just catch her under your arm? What a beautiful, beautiful combination of skills and strength and beauty.

@youtmeme

@richardmendes6038

He lost a bit of control but she had zero panic and total trust in him...awesome. That hug of teammwork shows she's a humble person too.

@leecegee

I love how she excitedly acknowledged her partner. She needs a good partner to be able to pull off all the moves she done and she showed the appreciation and support back 👌☺️

@shannonpuckett6604

She had COMPLETE AND TOTAL TRUST in her base which she executed flawlessly!!!!!! You never saw a whimper of doubt or concern on her face or in any body movement!! Amazing, amazing work by Oliver who is strong, loyal and talented at this sport and with these young ladies and also by the young lady in the competition!! Congratulations 🎉👏📣

@LizEdwards

This takes so much practice, strength and skill on both ends. 👏🏽

@crazyskz-h5n

To everyone that has to reply negatively to a comment complimenting the flyer , just stop. They both work incredibly hard and are extremely strong. We can give credit to one without discrediting the other, so please stop treating it as if no one ever compliments the base and then attack anyone who compliments the flyer, it's ridiculous. Saying the flyer is strong doesn't mean the base isn't and saying the base is strong, doesn't mean the flyer isn't.

@pavlemarina

This pair is awesome! But his strength, calmness and concentration are AMAZING!
