Most of you already know this, but please don't look at the best online poker player of all-time who's put in ungodly amounts of hours studying the game at an extremely high level where there's a lot of grey area and conceptualization, and think "I can go from $50 - 10M too!".
Cant understand that this vid doesent have more likes, this is pure gold in any advantage profession!
Phil Galfond’s rise from $50 to $10M is the perfect example of what smart strategy and discipline can achieve! 🎯 At Space Fortuna, we always stress that knowledge and patience are key to big wins. Truly an inspiring journey!
17:30 this is why i enjoy 5 card PLO. with holdem being mostly a solved game and PLO further along that road than it's ever been, adding in a 5th card changes the game radically enough that it's got more of that wild west feel that Phil is talking about. 5 card PLO is also exploding in popularity in online poker as we speak. It's the game I will be focusing most if not all of my attention on for the foreseeable future as the edges are currently large there and should remain that way for at least a few years.
Great channel
Something different. I like it.
Phil, please interview Colin.
Hi! Loving your videos as a new parent currently on leave. For blackjack, what table rule set would you suggest practicing first(e.g., H17 vs S17)? What are your preferred table rules? Thanks! Ph.D. in the northeast looking for a nice side hustle that could include travel!
If you can get Phil Ivey next holy crap that would be insane
Hi im new to blackjack like i have only played games on app store since few weeks , never in a casino and i dont know what is 1 deck double deck and im interested in joining your academy and im a little confused about these types of poker secondly closest casino to my place is 2 hours away so i cant really practice there any advise...? Thanks
I'm sure that when phil heard "he should have stayed retired" e definitely decided to come back 😂
What do you think about Cac2, they are saying its 10-13% better than Hi-Lo
So, I have asked you this in previous videos but for some reason you refuse to answer: Why do you count 7, 8 and 9 as NEUTRAL? In Thorpe's book, he states that you can get a more accurate count if you only use 8 as NEUTRAL, 7 as POSITIVE and 9 as NEGATIVE. Can you clarify this? Pretty please with a cherry on top.
Btw Colin, you should advice new players to not even consider playing more than the minimum of the lowest table posible out there until they have that amount times 1000
Talk to Daniel Negreanu, he like’s interviews
I haven't completely ruled out learning to play poker but I have put so much time and effort into perfecting blackjack that I'll only learn poker if I get banned from every blackjack table within a 3 province vicinity
Great interview. I too have hired Tommy Angelo for coaching. He's great
Falcons is one of the good ones
There is no way you could repeat that online today, too many bots.
