(4k tvs trash)

Back in my day, when I was a little kid, from ages 8 to 18, we didn’t have all this fancy garbage like 4K or, God forbid, 8K TVs with their overpriced, half-baked "smart" features that nobody asked for. Nope, we had good old 1080p TVs that got the job done without trying to spy on us or shove useless streaming apps down our throats. And don’t even get me started on these so-called "4K Blu-rays"—back then, it was all about 1080p Blu-rays, the peak of quality, none of this upscaled, over-processed nonsense.

Same goes for monitors! We didn’t have these overpriced QHD or 4K monitors with gimmicks slapped all over them. You had a solid 1080p display that did what it was supposed to do—no unnecessary bells and whistles, no overpriced garbage marketing, just a reliable screen that worked perfectly fine. And guess what? We were happy with it! Nowadays, they keep trying to push this "bigger, better, more pixels" nonsense, but all it really does is empty your wallet while barely making a difference.

So yeah, call me old-school, but I’ll take the golden era of 1080p over all this bloated, unnecessary tech any day.
