Lovely musical theater singing ๐ญ
The picture at the end, with Brant and the troupe nearly made me bawl. I know she's a funny, colourful child but it is so heartbreaking to think that she at her age- just a litte child sent away on a horrifying voyage, fearing the sea and the dark and everything around her because she was just. So young. The priests knowing she wouldn't return and yet sending her anyway. And Brant must have felt such horror, seeing just this baby emerge perhaps from a shipwreck, all alone on a desolate beach. He would know she's a liability because she's a child, but he took her in and cared for her nonetheless. He gave her the space to talk back to her and express herself. He's like a dad and a big brother and her boss all at once. He lets her think she's smart and mature and he's oh so silly to preserve her pride and childish whimsy. God i love them both.
Kuro deliver of what Disney fail to deliver for years .
this is literal 2010s Disney stuff that Disney themselves has missing in this decade, what a splendid performance
Having Roccias Showcase be a musical is such a natural stroke of genius. Also, all these references to other plays and musical fit so well here, considering who she is. In general, I immensely enjoy all these nods to other works in things connected to Rinacita, especially the "older" ones like Mozarts' Queen of the Night in Loreleis' Theme or the balcony scene from Romeo and Juliet in this video. The inclusion of part of our common knowledge to tell us something about a character this way; I think that's really neat.
Absolute cinema!
when kuro being more disney than disney.
I like that Roccia's trailer music is basically a musical theater, fitting cause she is a comedian actress. Truly an Absolute MAMA MIA moment ๐
The lyrics are so apt for her too omg the part where they start running once the bells of the convent chime and their performances becoming their crime (the Order cracking down on arts)....chills ๐ญ and then run run without a clear destination (the whole "pilgrimage") and then finally joining the troupe as an act of survival and rebellion...ohhh Kuro worked their magic here
Kuro Games has been cooking with every single Resonator Showcase video ๐๐ At this point, Brant's is going to be a Pirates of the Caribbean short.
Music Reference: Anastasia / Once Upon a December 0:27 Painting References From Left To Right: 1 - Lion King (Garanteed without a doubt) 2 - The Birth Of Venus - Sandro Botticelli (Possible, but I'm sure I've seen something more similar and can't remember) 3 - Reminds me of the Girl With a Pearl Earring but I've no idea. (I think I've seen something similar to this in anime but can't remember too) 4 - At first I was thinking it was The Creation of Adam from Michaelangelo, but it's from Romeo et Juliette: De La Haine a l'Amour Balcony Scene (Garanteed without a doubt) 5 - The Little Prince??? No Idea. 6 - Swan Lake - Dance of the cygnetes (The Royalle Ballet) (Garanteed without a doubt) 7 - The Phantom of the Opera (Garanteed without a doubt)
All references I see: Lion King. Creation of Adam Romeo vs Juliet Shakespear Spongebob: Mr. Krab, I have an idea. Greatest showdown
Wuwa made a better cinematic experience in 2025 than Disney ever did in the last few years๐
What I love about Kuro is that the trailers now tell so much more. Thank you to the developers for the hard work. I'll finally pull for her as a way of showing my gratitude๐โค
This character trailer places more emphasis on the relationship between Roccia and Pero than an over arching plot. It seems like that will be the focus of her character quest
ABSOLUTE MAMA MIA! Gives me similar vibes to some of those song numbers from classic Disney movies.
Both Roccia and Carlotta Resonator Showcase are great. They give the backstories of the resonators and showing their power without using the actual in-game battle animation with the exagerate camera angles that makes you dizzy sometimes. Very good. Very Cinema
This is not just a character promo, it is absolute cinema.
Kuro always bringing us the best quality.
