My absolute favorites and in my opinion the best I have found so far (excluding GCam mods) is Snap Camera HDR for photo and mcpro24fps for video. Snap Camera HDR with the denoising set to off and jpeg quality to 100% is absolutely fantastic even on otherwise shitty phones. One of my phones is an LG Stylo 3 Plus and it's stock camera app is absolute trash. With Snap Camera the photo quality has gone up drastically and it shoots raw photos too. My Samsung Note 3 and S6 same deal, photo quality was not bad to start but is very very good now. Mcpro24fps will allow you to record video in constant framerate mode instead of variable, and record an separate uncompressed wav file to go along with each clip for editing. That app is absolutely nuts and worth looking at if you like taking video on a smartphone.

I agree that some of the apps are pretty good. I’ve tried them, but they unfortunately don’t let me zoom in as much as with the original the built-in camera app on the phone (Nokia 7+). It’s as if the 3rd party apps can’t handle the extra telephoto lens on the phone. The original app is good, but sadly the exposure can’t be locked, so in many cases the image looks dark, which proves awkward when filming a video.

Procam X and Manual Camera ,it is basically pretty similar. Just like Hedge Cam 2 and Open Camera ,it is also pretty much similar

I think Footej camera & manual camera are just the modified version of open source open camera, Just UI is different. All under the hood features are same.
