Why no mention, at all, of the lady who fought to have the site explored? Depending on one's reading of the situation the university and council were less than helpful. The failure to even mention this makes this video feel very poorly edited at best
Not a single mention of Philippa Langley. For shame BBC.
Why no credit to the nonacademic woman who found this?
It wasn’t the university’s search. It was Phillipa Langley. Stealing her credit!
Typical of the 'academics' to line up to take credit for the find as if they found it
It is insane not to mention Philipa Langley!!!! Did an intern edit this??
No mention of Philippa Langley 🤔
It used to be we found our kings by pulling swords out of stones. Now we find them under pavement.
Surely the biggest clue was the sign that said: 'Reserved Parking, King Richard III'
Seriously? No mention of Philippa Langley? Shame on you, BBC. I’m tutting at you and wagging my finger. The omission is uncharacteristically sloppy of you.
Shame on you, BBC, for not telling the whole story!
poor BBC Where is Philipa?
Incredible archeological finesse.
Superb archaeology. Great video, thanks.
My unreserved congratulations to everyone, given due recognition or not, that contributed time, effort & expertise to the rediscovery of this World renowned historic British figure. For Richard i am pleased to know that, at least, the whereabouts of your final (suitable) resting place have been secured. The only [two] missing piece[s] of this particular jigsaw is those of the two Princes — one of whom would have been rightful King of England. 😐
Probably lucky he was found at all.
May God Bless Richard III, Confound His critics and Spare Him from the chattering class. Amen
