That makes sense, because we never see their bodies when they shape shift into their feeding form. One disclaimer, when the thing killed the man that let her into colony house, when she changed back into the girl, remember she was trying to clean the blood spot off the collar. How did that remain?

Great analysis. The creatures clothes being a part of their body would explain why they never change clothes, which is why most of the clothes they wear is from the 50's.

Their camo worked. After Jasmain killed the guy in the bathroom, they were able to blend in at the party until they cornered the girl with the pillow.

Or maybe the director didn't give a thought to the state of the cleanliness of their cloths. More interesting is the clothing itself. Their clothing is dated, not at all consistent with the era of the trapped residents - 60's maybe? And in some cases uniforms or formal dresses (wedding, party). Is the clothing they wear all from the same era? That demands an explanation.

It just makes me wonder where they are getting their human look from? Are they making themselves look like people they have previously killed, people that the human survivors know, or is it completely random?

I think it's a glammer -r all fairy/fae magic. The "faraway trees" sure seem to be magic, after all. Same with the way they can't escape the town

You can clearly see stains on their clothes the one womans white t-shirt is dingy and the girl's collar has some kind of dirt on it. I do agree that the clothes can be a part of their bodies.

Not sure about the clothes. We see guns have no affect on the creatures. I wonder why they haven’t been using melee weapons to defend themselves

At minute mark 3:44 Jasmine's collar is clean. And this is after she attacked Kevin and had his blood on it. Just a thought. Is it a mistake of the show or some how they are self cleaning? You can clearly see it a minute mark 4:04 also.
