This guy is wrong. AI isn't intelligent, aware, alive, capable of thought, or capable of feeling emotion. It doesn't understand anything. And it will never do or be any of these things. It's computer code. It's a program (albeit a sophisticated one) that follows the instructions in it's programming. Period. 
It can' create anything new. All it can do is search, sort, collate, and recombine data, and do what it is instructed to do with that data. 
AI is ones and zeroes on microprocessors.
