@melwiggins87

I knew he was talking about Diane Downs as soon as the second story started damn near. What a monster; someone who definitely doesn't deserve the title of "mother".

@ssplague

These detective stories are my FAVORITE type of videos.
These were Fuckin BRUTAL thought, a true showcase of the depraved monsters Among us.

@ju-did-ith

Sweet dreams everyone :_LetsReadButtersock: and as always, thank you Joel

@iheartshaneandjeffree

These are my favorite types of stories besides the paranormal ones. The detective ones are just absolutely riveting

@asimiqbal525

Joel deserves to have over a million subscribers - let’s get him over the line

@Thatspookychick

1st guy was probably close to being exposed for something really shady (dark web stuff)and decided to end it before then. I honestly feel sorry for the wife because she probably has some salt coming for the wound.

@Brittanyjordanlove

Can’t thank you enough! I walk dogs during the day and listening to these stories is the best way to pass the time

@alliexmt8660

If my husband burned himself alive after suspiciously throwing out our computer… all I’m saying is that I wouldn’t rest peacefully until I know what he did or what led to him offing himself, because nobody would choose such an awful manner to go out if he were just unhappy..

@coolestreviews5315

Man, these were some chilling tales. I usually don't like gruesome, but it works for these stories.

@jacobbowling263

Joel I’m a good mood last night I got to spend time with you and my buttersock cult family I just got off work now I can listen to let’s read and relax on my porch. Have a good evening Joel.

@efe_aydal

I just finished the first 3. Great stories as always. Far better than anything out there. I'm really glad I found your channel.

@infinitemidnightghostmourner

The drain cleaner thing is an actual nightmare. It legitimately terrifies me. The arm loss too (I'm an artist). Lord, I sincerely pray I never have to face that kind of horror ever. Ever ever. Please oh Lord.

@gavinballard4567

The best narrator on YouTube. I watch your videos every single night and during work. Thank you for all you do Joel!

@ScullyPop

Your graphic designer is a genius.

@mrfriendhorror

I'm traveling right now and have a long sleeper bus in Vietnam tomorrow morning. This is going on the playlist. Thanks, my friend!

@amandan412

I listen to you every night and I just love it when you upload a new video just before I sleep, your voice is my therapy ❤️ Thank you for all your hard work Joel, sweet dreams and much love from South Wales 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 🇬🇧

Here are some more horrific details about the Mary Vincent case:

* Her friends tried to convince her not to get in the man's car, finding it suspicious (obviously) that he would only take one of them.

* Before cutting one of her arms off, her would-be-killer asked her if she wanted to be free (Mary was either silent or pleading freedom, I don't recall which), and after cutting off the other and tossing her over the cliff, he apparently said: "Now, you're free."

* As she left court, he also whispered to her (it was the only time he was able to get close to her) that he would finish the job.

@MissIdolize

Can't get enough of your voice, narration style and stories. Love the addition "..and remember my friends.." Never know what your gonna say!

@incrediblylucid4914

Ironically, this helps with my insomnia. So much so that I usually have to watch twice.
